Sarah chose "22" rather than 32 individual candles as part of her dedication to recycling.
Sarah took herself to South Africa and got home in time for a garlicky, gingery kitchen for her Birthday dinner. Charles and Thomas pigged out. It was my Anthony Bourdain-inspired culinary gift to my lovely, hungry birthday-girl wife.
