It was a costume party, so Charles was dressed up to match his shirt.
Thomas helped the face painter but didn't want his face painted.
Thomas, Maxwell, and Carlos have cupcakes before the birthday cake came out.
We didn't do costumes because our last costume party, they were the only ones dressed up, but Thomas got a monkey mask.
Thomas and Charles had birthday cake almost every day this week: three birthday parties at school, one at home for Ilda's, our empregada, 28th birthday yesterday, and their friend Max's birthday today. They pigged out and had a great time, but as soon as we got home they wanted snacks.
