Thomas lost weight, looks a bit boney, and still has discomfort. He can't really eat with his regular gusto and often whines or cries pointing at his mouth full of food before spitting it all out because it's too hard to swallow. Even though he's a bit hard to handle these days, we've tried to get him and his brother out for at least an outing a day. He mostly enjoys them, but he's still not his regular self. Tomorrow we'll get to see if the doctor will let him go home.

Thomas and Charles at the park near our first guest home.
He'd be cuter if only he'd nap for more than ten minutes at a time.

Thomas loved the opportunity to dog pile on his brother and mama.

We had a tough cave exploration at the Cradle of Mankind through some narrow passages and lots of climbing-tough carrying kids.
Sarah thinks Thomas is sort of vain.
I was forced to put Thomas and Charles in the tub to have their snacks because they were making a mess and attracting an army of ants. I had to separate them when Charles kept attacking his brother.
Thomas has been regressing a bit and was jealous about me carrying around Charles in the carrier. We were at a little bird santuary here.
He can stand for a bit but not walk.
See anything different?
At least one person noticed Charles's new haircut.
We went to the Lion and Rhino Reserve, T & C mostly enjoyed the playground. (Those aren't shorts: T is wearing C's pants here).
